Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park Pole-Aquarium, as the largest in the world and the only one of its kind in China, it has the most species of marine living beings and polar animals and it offers the truest experience in the polar region.

| Bangcui Island |
Bangcui Island is located at the east part of Binhai Road, about 9 kilometers to downtown area. From 1950’s, there were some CPC conferences holding in Dalian. And the heads of the central leadership has been to work or inspection visits to Dalian. So Dalian built a hotel at here from 1959 to 1960. Our respectable Premier Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, chairman Liu Shaoqi, Marshal Ye Jianying and Hua Guofeng, Hu Bangyao, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin lived here. Bangcui Island hotel is the only state hotel in DalianThe hotel covers 87 hectares and a building area of 42,137 square meters. | City Garden |
Dalian is renowned for its honor as a "City Garden", while in the city there is a place called "Back Garden of Dalian"--the Golden Pebble Beach National Tourist Resort.
China State Government approved the Resort in 1992, and in 2001, it was ranked as a 4A national tourist attraction. It can also be called a 4 "S" resort -- a resort with elements of "Sea", "Shine", "Sand" and "Stone". For the last unfamiliar element, one would be surprised at the figure and color of exotic rocks here along the seaside--according to geological experts, it is a typical glacial epoch sea karsts physiognomy.

| Xinghai Square |
Xinghai Square was erected in 1997 to commemorate the reversion of Hong Kong. It sits at the center of the Xinghai business district. The design of the square combines Chinese tradition and modern concepts: A tall, straight and pure-white marble ornamental column stands at the pivot of the square, ranking the largest across the country. The column is 19.97 meters high, with a 1.997 diameter, indicating that it was built in the year HK returned to the motherland. The base of the column has 8 carved dragons, and the arch is carved with another huge dragon, implying that Chinese are descendants of the dragon. |

| Lushun |
Lushun is situated on the southern tip of Liaoning Peninsula, at the narrowest point of Bohai Gulf and takes the ocean gateway to Tianjin and Beijing. Lushun had long been a strategic location for military operations. Some 100 years ago, around 1900, it was the site of a key battle during the Sino-Japanese Jiawu War and a major battle point in the Russo-Japanese War later. Now the smoke of gunpowder and flames of war have faded away, a mass of war sites are left in the peaceful land. It is even called "a half volume of China's modern history".
